Say it with flowers

We all love flowers right? The ones we get for birthdays, anniversaries, valentines etc are always welcome......but a bit hyped don't you think? Now, flowers around the house for no reason at all.....wouldn't that make you smile? For me, having a few stems on my window sill and breakfast nook makes my day brighter :-) We all have busy and stressful lives..........but why not pause for a few minutes to enjoy some simple pleasures!!!

Sunny Wednesday

The sun is peeking through.............yay!! After a few days of snow and rain, what can I say......I am ecstatic. If only I had a sunny and dramatic kitchen like this, would I be inspired to cook more??? Hmmm....maybe......then maybe not :-) I absolutely love this kitchen......what do you think? The sunshine, the red hues, the rustic feel..............perfection. 

Or maybe I could spend the day blogging or reading a book in this bright and beautiful sun room. The pale yellow hues gives this sunny room so much warmth. Ok....I really do need to move away from these lovely images and actually plan my day today :-)

From Bali with love

The snow has gone and now we are back to the good old familiar rain :-) Its the first day of March and the year seems to be passing by quickly! I am so looking forward to spring. The season of flowers and a little more sunshine......

Remember my trip to Bali last November?? I found this gorgeous stone Devi (goddess) at a little store on the last night of my vacation. I barely had space to carry her but then.......she is beautiful isn't she?? I am still figuring out the perfect place for her but till then, here she is....
