Croatia beckons...

Croatia.....another destination on my wish list! Somehow, I feel I will get there soon :-) Wishful thinking maybe......and yet the desire to travel is deep rooted within me so I can say someday!!!

As a couple "Mr S" and I share a common love....the passion to explore new places! Fortunately we did manage to travel extensively over the years.......so I cannot complain :-) I am not heading off to Croatia anytime soon and yet I can imagine myself there! Join me as I drool over this Mediterranean styled farmhouse close to the seaside resort of Crikvenica.

The owners left their stressful life in Germany to move here with their two children. Sigh!! What an utterly gorgeous way to live!

A Small Milestone....my 500th post :-)

It's been a wonderful journey.....and I can't help but look back and smile as I compile my 500th post! My Dream Canvas has been my constant companion for two years now. MDC has been an outlet for my thoughts on decor and design, my passion for photography, my everyday musings...and so much more. I know that all of this would not have been possible without the encouragement from all you wonderful readers. I wish that I could thank each one of you personally.....however for now here's a virtual hug for every one of you :-) Thanks for stopping by and making My Dream Canvas a small part of your day!

Hello....

Hi! I am just popping in to say a quick Hello :-) Its been a glorious few days in Seattle filled with abundant sunshine.

I have endless chores to tackle on the home front and also prepare for the Harvest Festival at the Country Village in Bothell. I am pleased to announce that the Shop at My Dream Canvas will make its debut at the Harvest Festival on October 8th and 9th 2011. For all my local readers and friends, I am counting on you to be there!! It is my first ever participation at an Art and Craft Fair. I am super excited and extremely nervous!!

A Long Weekend....Yipee!!

The long weekend has finally arrived and I am a happy gal. More so as my parents are back from their cruise to Alaska. I have a housefull with extended family also visiting from India. Its a perfect start to a long weekend! The next few days promise to be fun...with endless chit-chats, lots of retail therapy and good food :-)
