A Home in Denmark

This home is charming, elegant and conveys a feeling of tranquility. Filled with stylish furnishings, vintage finds, greenery and neutral tones.........I like the fact that it looks original and well loved.

The owner calls it her "refuge" and I can see why!! I do believe that your home is your refuge. It is best to surround yourself with things that are both meaningful and comfortable to you. Don't you agree??

The light in this home is lovely...............makes it look so dreamy :)

Each piece is entirely hand embroidered and sewn by Julie, the owner who is based in Michigan.
Visit her Etsy shop for some lovely stuff!! This one is tempting me.........my Ipad needs a new look :)

The Farm Kitchen

I am a crazy person :) I love to discover new places, especially if it is off the beaten track :). This Saturday, I packed up my kids, hubby and my parents into the car......drove onto a Ferry to go eat breakfast :)

The Ferry from my house is half and hour away. The 30 min crossing was beautiful and the water and the snow capped peaks in the distance looked beautiful. I have tried to capture the beauty of the Farm Kitchen through pictures.  I just had to try and show you how lovely this place is :) We were greeted warmly and served a scrumptious breakfast. I loved the setting. Dining under a white linen canopy looking out towards lush greenery and an array of flowers was absolute perfection!!

After breakfast we walked around the entire farm. My kids loved it!!! Wide open spaces for them to run around.......I felt like running with them and bursting into a song :) Thankfully, I did not sing.....I would have scared everyone around :) Sigh!! Sometimes....I wish I could live in a place like this.......far far away from the madding crowd :)

So for all those living in the Greater Seattle area......hop on to the ferry and head to the Farm Kitchen for their First Saturday of the month breakfast!!! You will love it.

Have a super week!!!

My daughter running around trying to find her brother :)

How I wish this little cottage.....was the office for MDC :)

The pretty pretty flowers.......
