Fabulous Delhi

Hello friends!!! Its been a fabulous vacation and now its back to reality! I am jet lagged, and while the rest of the house sleeps, I am tempted to blog away....
In India I spent my time in in Delhi and Kolkata. I also vacationed in Indonesia, and had a brief stopover in Japan, on my way back to Seattle. I come away with a lot of wonderful memories.
My first love of course is Delhi........as my husband said "you come alive in this city". Its so true!! Its my hometown and a city like none other :-) Winters in Delhi are simply the best. The music concerts, the endless exhibitions, plays, cultural events, and the fabulous "Haats" (markets). I spent a day at the Dastakari Haat just before I left...........a colorful extravaganza with endless arts and crafts!! A perfect end to my Delhi vacation. Anyone heading there soon.....please take me along :-) For all those planning a visit to Delhi, do stop by "Dilli Haat", the venue for many such markets throughout the year.

What a cool product we focus on Canvas print that allows users to put photos on canvas but a canvas business card is a great idea.

GREETINGS ANU,
I am new to your blog and I am so happy I found it.
These are such stunning pictures...I love the umbrellas, the tea light holder, the butterflies, and pottery. That must be a life time opportunity to shop at these Haats, I think you called them...was the umbrella heavy...that would be gogeous as a decorative item in the home. I have two Drs. from India...I love them both.
Thank You for sharing your pictures.
Have A Sugar Sweet Day
