Welcoming The New Year and A Road Trip

Hello there! I hope you have missed me :) I know I disappeared for a few days. We as a family love road trips, and so we decided to take off for a few days! We drove down to a cute little fishing village on the Oregon coast called Yachats.  The churning seas made for some spectacular scenery. It was cold, it was misty, it was cloudy but it was beautiful. Here are a few pictures that I took from in front of our hotel room! The Pacific Northwest is known for its winter sea storms and I was thrilled that I got to see it :)

I would like to wish you all a Very Happy New Year. I hope the New Year brings you everything you wish for and more!

Happy 2013!!

I could spend a lifetime here!

Dear Anu. Winter sea storms. Check. We caught one while visiting Alki beach with my Parisian mother-in-law a few days ago. That field trip of yours sounds like great fun. I may want to check out the Oregon coast once more when I get a chance. Happy New Year to you! Glad we found each other in 2012. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
