Where do I begin.....its been a fantastic Saturday! Today, India became the 2011 Cricket World Cup Champions! Indians all over the world are rejoicing! I too am joining the celebration with my own little party :-) I have been dying to showcase a lovely gift I received from my favorite cousin :-) We are really close and she knows me very well! More about the gift as we go along....
So, I had the usual issues.....the rain would not let up. There was poor light at home, but I went ahead with it anyway:-)
On my table are a few flowers, birthday orchids from hubby, an old ice bucket which I use as a vase, a precious heirloom - my great grandfather's cut glass and silver decanter, flea market finds.....and of course my gift!!

My cousin bought me these gorgeous napkin rings.....they are real roses which have been dipped in silver and then treated to get this look!! I am not kidding...aren't they gorgeous?? Thanks Pooja!
I could not resist another shot....
I shall let you into a secret....I am using the napkin rings with paper napkins I bought from Ikea during a Christmas sale:-) I like to think of it as functionality combined with elegance:-)
Thank you for joining the celebration at My Dream Canvas! Have a lovely Sunday and see you later!

I agree, these are all wonderful pieces to be treasured. The decanter is particularly lovely and the lantern is so charming. As to your ice bucket I have one that is somewhat very similar however I use it to dress my table as a beverage (wine) bottle holder.

First off, good luck on the giveaway! Your silver napkin rings are fabulous. I have a brooch that was my grandmothers made of a leaf that was dipped in silver. Gorgeous display.
You have an absolutely gorgeous table setting. Thanks for sharing this at the Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop.
I am in love with your napkin rings! I have seen the long stemmed roses dipped in silver, and in fact, purchased one for a friend to say "thank you" for a visit in her home. They are clostly so I can only imagine the price of the napkin rings.
Love all your silver but the napkin rings are eye catchers. Beautiful
