A Giveaway and The MDC Casa!

Hello! I have some thing here which would hopefully shake off your Monday blues. It is a Giveaway to thank my readers all over the world :) A giveaway to celebrate MDC's 6th Birthday :) My love for tribal patterns and every one's enthusiasm for Suzani's is what this giveaway is about! I am offering a set of 4x4 tiled coasters with suzani motifs. I fell in love with these coasters on Etsy and ordered them for this giveaway! However, before I share more details about this exciting giveaway, here are a few images of my home which I took this weekend!
My house is now 9 years old and in desperate need of some "tender loving care". Paint touch ups, scraped doors, nail holes, scratched floors, yes it is all there! This spring, hubby and I are rolling up our sleeves and getting to work :) Its going to be slow and we will make mistakes but hopefully we will fix most of the issues :)

Do you have any funny stories about your home renovation and repairs? I would love to know!

Now for the Giveaway........here is the picture of the 4 pretty coasters :)

1. For the First entry: Tell me why you love Suzanis? Leave a comment on the blog.

2. For the Second Entry: Follow My Dream Canvas on Facebook

3. To triple your chances, spread the word.......mention this giveaway on Facebook/tweet about it or blog about it and leave me a comment telling me about it.

4. I will announce the winner on April 24th :) The best part is that this Giveaway is open to my readers worldwide!!

All the best and a big thank you from me!

I love Suzanis just for the bright pop of colors. No matter where you use them, they surely stand out with their beautiful colors. <3 them. Congratulations on your big achievement. 6 years is no less task. Beginning something is really easy but sustaining is a challenge considering the daily challenges we face. Hats off for 6 years and wish you many more years of success :-)

I love Suzani!! The striking pattern and shapes of deep rust and burgundy brings instant cheer to any nook and corner. For me, Suzani is a perfect eclectic decor element for a home.

Happy 6th to your blog. Wishing you many milestones, Anu. You're doing an awesome job. Keep up the great work :)

had never heard of Suzanis until I read about them in your blog and have been a BIG fan ever since. I like Suzanis for 2 reasons- the striking and bold hues that define a Suzani and the beautiful feminine motifs. In drab weather native to Seattle, a cup of hot chai, a mystery novel and a beautiful Suzani armchair that I have I my house is all I need to bring the sunshine to my heart! I have been an avid follower of your blog and congratulations on your 6th year. Truly an Awesome achievement and best wishes for more to come

Congratulations Anu on the 6th anniversary of MDC. You have done a fabulous job on the blog and best wishes for more success in the coming years! I love Suzanis for their colors, patterns, the feeling of home that I get when I see them, warm and homey and how it just lives up any space where it used. You can dress up or dress down a room and a Suzani will blend in either ways.

I love suzani! Specially because of the intricate work. Do you know there is something called "suzni kantha"? Which is also embroidery work and I believe it's origin is Bangladesh. May be both the work are related somehow, though I am not sure how :)

I love all things handmade and respect the effort and love that has gone in creating it, for the same reason I like Suzani. Also the vibrant colours and patterns are an eye catcher. Would simply love to win this giveaway:)
