Hello there :) Another day dawns in my neck of the woods. It is time to spread some sunshine and smiles at My Dream Canvas:) I am enjoying a beautiful morning with sunshine filtering through my windows.
It is lavender season here in the Pacific Northwest. In fact you can even spot them growing wild in some places. Yesterday, I took my kids to a farmers market near my house. I picked up a few sprigs for my antique lavender jars. As the gentle fragrance from the lavender sprigs fill my home, I cannot help but smile :)
Now for the little poll I have up on my Facebook Page. This question is for my readers based in USA. If you had to pick between Home Goods and Pier One......which one would top your list?? Don't forget to leave a comment.......trust me, this is all heading somewhere :) You can leave a comment here on my blog or my Facebook page. I am looking forward to it :)

I would say Home Goods Anu, you never know what wold you find there ...
Home Goods. Just adore that store. Not only does
it have things from all over the world but the prices are very affordable. Its toysrus for women. Love it.
Gorgeous picture!
Love the lavender vase and sprigs!
What beautiful images here, Anu. I'd say if you are going shopping head to Home Goods instead of Pier One. I like the mix of things and many are one of a kind-unlike Pier One where there are 30 of each item. At HomeGoods if you don't GET IT NOW you can bet it will be gone next time you go in. Blessings-xo Diana
Prefer Homegoods anytime , they have one of a kind products from all over the world and all so affordable....love the lavender in the antique jar, it's like they are made for each other :)
Hmmmm tough one. I just went to my first HG store in Lynnwood yesterday and loved it. Got a couple of really good deals. As much as I LOVE Pier 1, I'm going to have to say HG! Saw a Suzani chair I have my eye on, but by the time I get enough saved for it, it will be gone :( Maybe thats a good thing.
Love lavender. Our entire neighborhood is full of it!
Your blog is a lovely read. I would pick Home Goods all the way it is much cheaper than Pier One.
home goods wins hands down.
