Summer Road Trip

I got to do one of my favorite things this weekend:) We went on a road trip......the best way to kick off the summer here in the Pacific Northwest!! We drove through the scenic North Cascades Highway and spent the night at a beautiful log cabin in the middle of nowhere!!! A section of this highway is closed six months of the year beacause of snow. We have been keen to drive on this road for years and finally got around to it :)  All I can say is that we were only 4 hours away from home, but it felt like we had travelled thousands of miles away! I had my family with me at a gorgeous log cabin, the trees were swaying to a gentle breeze and there were pine cones scattered everyone.....it was my idea of bliss:)

I have tonnes of pictures to sort through but here are just a few:) We stopped at this Deli cum Fruit stand for lunch yesterday.......I absolutely loved the place!!!!
Here's wishing you a wonderful week ahead. My Dream Canvas will get a new look this week and I am so excited!!! Stay tuned as it is coming up soon:)

By the way, please don't forget to click HERE to view the new products at the Shop at My Dream Canvas.

Have a lovely day.......
