My Seattle

A few snapshots of Seattle in all its glory during the summer months. I am a big fan of this picturesque city. The stunning and dramatic Cascade range with the waters of the Sound and the numerous lakes make this a city like none other.

My Home in India

I am thrilled by the response to my home in Rang Decor. Its a wonderful feeling to be appreciated by people from all over the world. I owe my parents a lot of gratitude for making me who I am. A big influence and inspiration in my life is my mother. She is my greatest support and also my biggest critic :-) My mom's home is a reflection of her personality. She is a gracious hostess and her style is a combination of simplicity and elegance. These are images from my parents home in Gurgaon.

Magic in Maui

I qoute a few lines from a poem by Claude Peter Dhuet...what he writes captures every thought in my mind while I was taking these photographs in Maui.

"I see in the distance before me a picture worthy to behold, Painted in colors of such beauty, In colors yet untold, For there lies an ocean beyond my shore, As far as my eyes can see, Bathed in the light of the setting sun, A magical golden sea. Soft clouds drift by, adorning the sky, Each with its own design."

Oh Tahiti..

"Tahiti" is my ideal dream vacation. When I met my husband 9 yrs ago, he told me that French Polynesia was his dream destination. Perhaps that is why we clicked :-) The temperatures in India are soaring high. The summer heat and swirling dust make you dream of white sands, blue waters, and refreshing tropical cocktails. Tahiti covers over two million square miles of the South Pacific Ocean. It comprises of 118 islands spread over five great archipelagos. These dramatic isles have a mysterious charm for me. I am curious and eager to know more. Someday I hope to travel to these gorgeous islands. For now, these images bring my dream to me!

Road Trips

We as a family love going on road trips. Most weekends I am ready with my camera with an urge to discover the pretty sights around Seattle. I loved this drive to Leavenworth during fall last year. Leavenworth is a replica of a small Bavarian village tucked away in the foothills of the Cascades.
