Happy Tuesday! I have a lot on my plate these days and therefore it been hard for me to be regular with my posts. However, I have not forgotten my summer home series and this home fits that description perfectly :)
We are in Spain at a renovated farmhouse with my favorite elements...white washed walls, exposed beams, rustic elegance, vintage charm and just about everything I adore :) Its the little touches in a home that call out to me, and this one oozes charm, warmth and character.
I feel like I could step into this space and unwind instantly. A beautiful summer escape....filled with flower and light!

I have been a busy bee off late :) With the kids school getting over soon..... its been a series of play dates, tea parties, breakfast mornings.......you get the drift.
I have been meaning to share these images for a while so here goes.....
If you remember a few months ago, I had talked about creating a space in my home with the theme" these are a few of my favorite things" Remember the song from Sound of Music? I have watched that movie a gazillion times. I even went on the Sound of Music tour in Salzburg, Austria :)
The room is slowly coming together! It has antique store finds, renovated furniture, pretty plants, it showcases my love for tea, photography, travel and has a few personal treasures. The room sounds fancier than it looks but I am pleased with the result :)
Here is a quick peak into what the space is filled with. I took a few pictures with my phone of the vintage tea posters that are up on the wall. I hope to share the entire room next week. Its personal, its quirky and its all about me :)

Hello there! The pool house has been designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. This property is an urban oasis very close to the Delhi airport. It is a modern contemporary space infused with traditional elements!

Hello there! After two days of rain and cooler temperatures we are back to sunshine and blue skies. The summer in the Pacific Northwest is so short that we make the most of it. Each day of sunshine is celebrated :) It is the place to be outdoors, with lakes and mountains at your doorstep! I love this time of the year.
At home too, I dress up the place for summer. Fresh flowers, hints of cream, orange and green dominate my space :) My beloved heirlooms sparkle and shine with an extra coat of silver polish. I plan to try my hand at block printing, hence my recent fascination with blocks :)

I have a confession to make! I am officially an antique store junkie :) I spotted this at a local store recently and had to share it with you. Its a vintage filing cabinet. The vivid green certainly makes it look striking. This summer I will take you along with me on an antiquing journey. What's in store, you ask? Maybe a trip to England and Italy :)

Love the colorful hues in the image above. Its bright and beautiful without being over the top. From the blue Suzani to the pretty tulips and the gorgeous tribal pillows....it all seems to come together.
