Slice of heaven..

A slice of heaven..it does exist for me and its right here ! We all want that special corner in our home just for ourselves right ? I am trying to physically create that cosy corner and when I succeed I shall let you know. An ideal retreat with gorgeous views, a hot cup of tea, a good book or just to day dream. However, for now I sit in any corner of my house, close my eyes and think of this lovely restaurant at the edge of the pacific. This is what I call a room with a view and for now its mine to savour and cherish :-)

Its Thursday..yay.. and soon it will be the weekend. The sun seems to have gone for now and its cold, grey and wet. My ideal weekend will include a good book, soft music, the warmth of a fireplace and a comfy blanket :-) It may not end up to be quite like that but then...happy thoughts make for happy days.......

My Dream Canvas completes a year..

It was the same time last year that I created My Dream Canvas and wrote my first post :-) Its been an incredible year and my blog has been my constant companion. A big hug and thank you to my family and friends who have supported me and encouraged me the past year...
