Schuyler Samperton

Pink is usually not my color, but I can't help but admire the work of Los Angeles based designer Schuyler Samperton. I like how this room looks colorful, elegant, modern and stylish all at the same time.

Her work has recently been featured in the March issue of Vogue. To view her portfolio click here.

A Home in Greece

I am in love!! Yes that's the fun of of having a design blog.....you can fall in love everyday :-) A home overlooking the Mediterranean sea in Greece. What more could you possible want? I like its laid back charm, the stone against the white washed walls and the soft touches of Aqua all around! It looks so comfortable and unpretentious.....a perfect haven!

With incessant rain outside my window this home looks even more appealing. I am getting tempted to bring back my series on Summer homes. This would be a good way to begin :-)

Lovely Things for your Home.

Its time to go shopping at My Dream Canvas :-) Come and visit these lovely stores with me!  With the arrival of Spring it is time to think of your Garden. Or do you have herb pots on your windowsill ? I really like these custom hammered copper Garden markers from Luster! The look so pretty and chic. The best part is that they can be customised and at a good price too. Tempting right?

A Home in South Africa

This is a charming retreat for the architect who own this home. This is her getaway from her busy life in Johannesburg. She has to fly into Cape Town and drive another hour to get here but it must be so worth it :-) The White House as the home is aptly named, is located in the little town of Koringberg. Simple, chic, modern, artistic and sun drenched........what more can you want?

The White House is available for selective rental. To find out more details you can email  aminky@mweb.co.za.

With Spring here and summer around the corner.......this home looks even more appealing laid back and Oh! so perfect!
