Patio Love and Day Dreams

I have to clean my house today (: I cannot even begin to tell you how much I have to do!!! Yet, my mind keeps wandering :) I want sit on my patio and relax. Sigh!! I do wish my patio looked like this though:)

There is a Home Tour coming up for you real soon. MDC is gearing up for a makeover and the Shop at My Dream Canvas will present its Summer 2012 collection. Yay! Let the fun times begin! Time to face reality now and tackle the endless tasks that await me!

Antique Store Finds

Hi! I had mentioned in an earlier post that I had found an unusual vase at a local antique store. I actually found two :) I went back two days later to get the smaller one! It looks so much better as a pair.......don't you think? The lady at the shop told me that these were used to store lavender! What a lovely idea.The color, the design ad the rusty iron stand......it was love at first sight! Everybody loves a bargain and these were  inexpensive as well..........Yay:)

I love the peonies in my new vase sitting happily by my window :)
