Rudolph is Here :)

My Reindeer at home does not have a red nose but he is still very cute :) When I was a kid my Dad used to sing Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer to me all the time! Now he sings it for my kids. My four year old loves the song and giggles every time he sings it for her :) We all have a few special songs we loved as a child. I still smile, and sing along when I hear this song :) I would love to hear about some of your favorite songs as a child?

My Reindeer at home is here to wish you a Happy Friday and a lovely weekend!
Have Fun :)

An Act of Kindness

The Holiday Season is fabulous and I love everything about it :) Today a complete stranger in Target went out of her way to tell me where I could get a better deal on a toy I was thinking of buying for my son. She even showed me a picture of the toy on her phone. I guess..... I looked rather helpless and extremely confused :) She told me about the newer version of the toy as she was getting the same thing for her son. Thanks to her, I will be getting my son the right Christmas gift :) This random act of kindness from a stranger meant the world to me! It was a good start to my morning :)

I am sending smiles and lots of good wishes your way!! I had to share this image with you......it looks so welcoming :)

Holiday Cheer At Home

My cold winter nights are looking a wee bit brighter these days :) I recently found these pretty twigs at a lovely home store a few miles away from home. They have tiny little bulbs that sparkle when lit :) The best part is that they do not have no ugly wires that need an outlet to connect to. These twigs light up using batteries. You can stick them into vases or or just about anything. With no wires outside they look so pretty as a centerpiece on a table!!

I absolutely adore them :) They are perfect for this season! For now, I am using them with some Christmas decoration to spread some holiday cheer in my home :) However,  I can see myself using them year around specially when I have a dinner party. These twigs can be used by themselves, or with  flowers and other types of decorative branches to create a sparkling centerpiece!

Aren't they fun :)
