A touch of Bavaria close to Home

Last weekend we drove to Leavenworth. A pretty little town just two hours away from home. Leavenworth is a quaint replica of a Bavarian village, tucked away in the foothills of the Cascade mountains. The endless array of flowering bushes added to the charm, and beauty of the town, and made the day almost magical.

Walk down the street with me....................and enjoy this picturesque town with its idyllic setting.

Soothing Whites

Its finally here!!! Seattle is going to be 90 degrees this week. For us, that's a heat wave!! After months of complaining we have got our wish:-) Now, I am not sure if I am ready for it. These soaring temperatures call for soothing palettes. Here are some gorgeous white rooms to soothe your eyes, and cool down that summer sizzle!

Hello Monday and Summer Plans

Hello there! Fireworks by the lake, lazy mornings, endless errands and some retail therapy. Long weekeds are such fun!! I am going on vacation soon, and I am counting the days! Ten days of sheer bliss in a gorgeous place. This is my fourth trip there, but what can I say, I just love it!! A few seashells in my new vase and a lovely star fish from pottery bran is all I need to set the mood :-)
